MONTHLY TOURNAMENT FOR NOVEMBER 27TH 2007

This time we were back in Eastern Star Golf Course.

As usual, 10 o’clock Tee off, but today we were a little delayed because a collision with another team.

As usual we had the competition in the competition, where the winners of the closest to the pin on the par 3 hole was:

Mika with Vesa Nironen and Ron Litler as the next.

Of couse the Longest Drive was won by Ossi Viljanen himself.

In the Ladies group we got the following results:

Winner: Sanna Viljanen; 32 pts (anyone that know the family name?)

Second place: Lamyai Sjoholt; 28 pts

Third Place: Bang Org; 27 pts

In the mens group we got the following results:

Winner: Matti Hattonen; 37 pts

Secone place: Kurt Erik; 36 pts

Third place: Vesa Nironer: 31 pts

Pattijoen golfin Suomenmestaruus ratkaistiin jouluaattona Eastern Starin golf kentällä.Suuren suosion saavuttanut kilpailu oli buukattu täyteen jo pari kuukautta ennen varsinaista tapahtumaa, joten 34 pelaajan voimin taisteltiin niin tasoitussarjan, scratchin kuin naistenkin sarjan voitosta.

Kenttä oli huippukunnossa ja sää sekä järjestelyt vertaansa vailla, joten voiko parempaa enää odottaa mestaruuskisoilta.

Naisten sarjan ennakkosuosikki Sanna Viljanen piti pintansa ja pokkasi ensimmäisen Pattijoen SM -voittopokaalinsa kotiin.Vasta kymmenvuotias Sanna on kovaa vauhtia etenemässä ammattilaisuralle isänsä Ossi Viljasen opein, joten kannattaa seurata Sannan kehitystä.Viime vuoden mestari Kari Hiltunen oli kuin varjo entisestään, joten toinen Lahden poika Kari Kuparinen nousi korkeimmalle korokkeelle ottaen scratch- sekä tasoitussarjan voiton 36 bogey -pisteellä ja 83 lyönnillä. Mainittakoon vielä Thaimaan salibandyn kummisetä Risto Kauppinen joka jäi toiseksi muutaman pisteen voittajalle havinneenä
